Passaic River Park is one of 36 Union County parks that encompass 6,200 acres. This park is located in Summit, NJ and includes the following features: Nature Trail, Soccer Field, Fishing, Canoeing and Kayaking.

The Passaic River Trails trailhead, located just before the entrance to the Transfer Station on New Providence Avenue, has a new kiosk with a large trail map prepared by Rick Matias of Summit’s Engineering Department.

One segment of the trail meanders along the Passaic River. Below are links to a smaller version of the map, with a specific trail highlighted, and a “Nature Find” scavenger hunt sheet, prepared by Jackie Kondel of Reeves-Reed Arboretum.
