Screening of documentary followed by discussion led by Westfield Green Team members. The 2010 award-winning documentary, “Bag It: Is your Life Too Plastic?” will be screened at the Westfield Memorial Public Library at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 18th. The program is free and open to the public. Children 8 and older are welcome to attend. The film exposes the effects that plastic bags and other plastic consumer items have on the environment and the human body. Following the film, a discussion will be led by members of the Westfield Green Team. “Bag It” has received multiple audience choice and best documentary awards at film festivals across the country.
