• Make your own re-usable bag with an old t-shirt. All are invited to bring an old t-shirt and easily transform it into a re-usable, fun bag without the need for any sewing!
• Tree Sapling Giveaway – Multiple varieties will be distributed along with instructions on planting/growing.
• Hundreds of free re-usable bags and metal straws will be given away!
• Informational brochures on environmental topics, nature, energy efficiency, etc..
• Send a postcard to a corporate polluter or sign our NO IDLING pledge.
• Recycling Wheel game- Test your knowledge about Westfield’s recycling rules and see our recycling exhibit
• Items from Jay’s Cycle Center will be raffled off to elementary school students who biked to our fair with parents. Kids in
grades K-5 can show their helmets at Green Team table and enter contest.
• Grab a coupon for a free food item generously donated by a local restaurant
• Look for Green Pledge in local store windows today, showing how each business is working towards going eco-friendly!
Free Market, 8 am – 3 pm
Donate or take home yard sale quality items such as clothing, kitchen items and furniture! This is a great way to keep items out of our landfills, re-use instead of buy new and keep our carbon footprint low on this Earth Day!
• Look for a registration table if you are planning to donate items.
• Green Drop will pick up all left over items at 3:30pm.
