The Borough of Roselle Recreation Department was implemented in January, 2012 upon the inauguration of Mayor Jamel C. Holley. Mayor Holley’s vision was to bring an experienced individual to the borough who could develop broad recreational opportunities and events for all Roselleans. Under this newly created department, Roselle has emerged as a leading recreational site in Union County, with streamlined processes for coordinating efforts of non-profit, volunteer sports clubs and organizations, as well as a plethora of borough sponsored activities.
